RUNNING FOR GOOD

The Gökçeada Ultra Trail is among the races where charity runs are organized under the Adım Adım (Step by Step) umbrella...
Charity runs are a successful fundraising method used worldwide to support non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Since March 2008, volunteer athletes—runners, swimmers, and cyclists—have run for over 100 NGOs participating in the "Running for Good" platform, developed and managed by Adım Adım, facilitating the collection of over 300 million TL in donations from over 1 million donors.
Adım Adım, a pioneer in transparency and accountability, has achieved a first in Turkey with its "Running for Good" platform, where all donations can be tracked instantly.
A charity run is not just about collecting donations. It's also about sharing a cause that warms your heart, that you wish to see solved, and that you want to draw attention to, with your social circle. This also means you're essentially acting as an ambassador for the NGO you're running for. In short, besides donating, you raise awareness and contribute to solving the problem.
Donations made during charity run campaigns are transferred directly to the NGO's official bank/credit card account opened for the relevant project. 36% of the total individual donations to NGOs supported by volunteer athletes running with Adım Adım are collected through charity runs. As of November 2024, the number of registered volunteer athletes with Adım Adım has exceeded 110,000!
